| |
I recently upgraded from a Triton FX board to a TX one. The problem is I keep getting I/O errors (the kernel complains about not being alble to read from a specified sector) from my second hard drive (a Quantum Fireball 1280A), configured as Primary slave, alongside a Quantum Fireball 4.3SE (primary master) UDMA/33. Needless to say,the 1280A does not support UDMA. I suspect the 1280A is getting bad sectors, but I want to make sure it isn't anything else before I return the drive to Quantum Customer Support for replacement.
Um abraco, Antonio Trindade.
