Ok, now I am very very frustrated. I tested it out on more directories. THe one I was having problems with was one of two subdirectory trees that I did a lot of work in in Windows (moving most of it to Linux as I edit things). The directories I tested just now all work. Even when names are similar. Here is the contents of one that works: [arabian@localhost arabian]$ ls /mnt/C Corel autoexec.bat detlog.txt msdos.sys setuplog.txt MYFILES bootlog.prv eguitar1 netlog.txt suhdlog.dat My Documents bootlog.txt frunlog.txt newmedia system.1st Program Files cardwork io.sys recycled videorom.bin Real command.com linuxstuff rott windows WORK config.sys msdos.--- scandisk.log [arabian@localhost arabian]$ cd /mnt/C/s scandisk.log setuplog.txt suhdlog.dat system.1st Here is one that doesn't work: /mnt/C/WORK (attachment duh77) ok now the test oh great... Nevermind. I am now running 2.2.2. The problem is gone. I wasn't entirely sure it was in 2.2.0, I do know for sure it was in 2.2.1, and it seems to be gone in 2.2.2 I am sorry to have wasted all the bandwidth. Problem solved. Trever P.S.
