Only when I set -m0 option to hdparm it works nice.

My environment is as I mentioned in the message:

>/dev/hdb Maxtor 92040U6 (Linux)

When I set

hdparm -c1 -m0 -X66 -k1 /dev/hdb

it works nice.

On the other hand when I set

hdparm -c1 -m1 -X8 -k1 /dev/hdb

access to /dev/hda causes such an error as:

Dec 19 11:17:24 alfonz kernel: hda: irq timeout: status=0xd0 { Busy }
Dec 19 11:17:24 alfonz kernel: ide0: reset: success

and none of the HDDs access is possible as I sent before.

Moreover, when I set

hdparm -c1 -m1 -X6[56] -k1 /dev/hdb

access to /dev/hda causes such an error as:

Dec 19 11:10:13 alfonz kernel: hda: read_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComp
lete Error }
Dec 19 11:10:13 alfonz kernel: hda: read_intr: error=0x04 { DriveStatusError }
Dec 19 11:10:23 alfonz kernel: hda: irq timeout: status=0xd0 { Busy }
Dec 19 11:10:23 alfonz kernel: ide0: reset: success

and none of the HDDs access is possible as in case above.

Error of hdb seems to disappered with 2.2.14pre15.
I'm not sure what differs between pre11 and pre15...
(Sorry I don't try pre12..14)
