SubjectOuch! Powerleap adaptors, Celeron 466's with no Cache
Hello,

I've bought a pair of Powerleap Socket-8-to-PGA370 adaptors in
an effort to upgrade my elder dual PPro system (it has SCSI on board,
and uses a special power supply -- it's the Micronics M6Me -- which is
why I don't want to ditch it), but I ran in two some problems the most
serious being that the L2 cache on Celerons seem to be unrecognized...

Powerleap says that there is a way to activate the L2 cache on
the Celerons. In fact they have a CPU Control Panel software for this
purpose, but it is only for use with Windows. Can someone tell me how
this L2 cache activation might be effected in Linux? THANKS ...
