Did you find the "USB drivers" section?
Under that, enable "USB SCSI" support. It is
for USB ZIP, USB floppies, etc. I know that
people are using it for ZIP and floppies.
Don't know about other USB mass storage
devices, like HDD, CD-RW, etc.
