SubjectRandom PPP ProtRej's (Re: Random PPP Dropouts)
Hi,

I'm running 131ac13, but as it's ppp.c does not differ from 2.2.0-pre4
ppp.c, these errors I have may apply to 2.2.0-pre, too. pppd version is
2.3.5.

I'm running Linux on my laptop Contura Aero, 25MHz 486, 8M RAM, using
Xircom Creditcard Ethernet + Modem 28.8 for dial-up. I'm using mostly
fetchmail and lynx.

I do not get checksum errors, but sometimes ProtRej errors show up in
/var/adm/debug and fetchmail or lynx is not able to connect until ppp
restart. I did not notice this while running 2.0 series kernels. Here is
