I even wrote some words on it: Documentation/page-colouring.txt Note: I don't claim to be an expert on this. This is based on what I've learned in the process of tracking down another problem.

I've mainly been considering the latter, but I suspect Larry McVoy also meant the former: I'll be posting another followup soon to check on that.
