I have a Redhat 5.2 installation on a dual Pentuim HP Kayak. In the previous version of kernel 2.0.36 I had no problems in enabling the SMP (multiprocesor). In version 2.2.0, even though I put the correct options in make config :
CONFIG_SMP=y CONFIG_APM=n CONFIG_RTC=y
The second procesor doesn´t seem to show up (cat /proc/cpuinfo) I have install all th utilities need for kernel 2.2.0 to work. Has anyone had the same problem? or better yet a solution?
Thanks
