Hello kernel gods,
I have been having some VERY slow download porblems. From anywhere to my Linux box is extremely slow.. Recently I messed with some troubleshooting and found this when I ping:
oldcolo:/usr/src# ping -s 500 192.160.122.254 PING 192.160.122.254 (192.160.122.254): 500 data bytes 508 bytes from 192.160.122.254: icmp_seq=0 ttl=30 time=6.2 ms 508 bytes from 192.160.122.254: icmp_seq=1 ttl=30 time=5.7 ms 508 bytes from 192.160.122.254: icmp_seq=2 ttl=30 time=5.7 ms 508 bytes from 192.160.122.254: icmp_seq=3 ttl=30 time=5.6 ms 508 bytes from 192.160.122.254: icmp_seq=4 ttl=30 time=5.7 ms 508 bytes from 192.160.122.254: icmp_seq=5 ttl=30 time=5.7 ms 508 bytes from 192.160.122.254: icmp_seq=6 ttl=30 time=5.7 ms

It starts out good, then goes downhill as packet sizes increase. Here is the single line I get in /usr/adm/messages:
