Hi,
I want to report a problem with the linux kernel 2.2.0pre9 on an AlphaStation 500/266 aka Alcor.
I build a Generic kernel using egcs-1.1.1 as I did for several pre-releases, the kernel runs fine in first place, bug crashes hard when I try to insert the SCSI CD-ROM module. This is with an QLogic ISP controller. SCSI disk compiled into the kernel is just working fine.
There have been several similar reports on the axp-redhat list.
Last version I know it works on is linux-2.2.0pre7-ac4.
