I did a search for "scsi-idle linux" on infoseek and www.linux.org, and only came up with the patches on sunsite. Sorry.

I downloaded your patch and it has more stuff in it than mine. :-)

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Is this what you have to do to be able to pass NULL as the buffer argument to scsi_do_cmd (see my other message on this topic)?
