The GNU tools are already there, if it's an upgrade. The point was
that someone should summarize what's new in the kernel, and perhaps
convince non-kernel hackers to upgrade before the vendors include the
2.2 production kernel on their CD's.

Anybody who wants to know can tune in to the list!
