| |
In the 2.2 kernel CONFIG_SMP was set by default and I failed to change it. I have reinstalled 2.2 without SMP but my clock seems to be messed up. Running 2.0.36 doesn't help either. Is this because of something that happened with SMP? How do I get the clock working?
Here is the output from adjtimex --adjust:
adjtimex --adjust --- current --- -- suggested -- cmos time system-cmos 2nd diff tick freq tick freq 916085406 -24836.706254 -24836.706254 10000 0 916085460 -24881.188955 -44.482700 10000 0 916085514 -24925.669255 -44.480300 10000 0 54480 1967869 916085567 -24970.151948 -44.482693 10000 0 54483 -2010166 916085621 -25014.632251 -44.480303 10000 0 54480 1987530 adjtimex: Invalid argument
my system clock is ticking about 5 times slower than the hardware clock.
