    Here's the function that I found in System.map:

    c0108ac4 T handle_IRQ_event

    I've messed with pressing sysrq at different times some more, and I'm
    convinced that once it actually printk's that lp message, the kernel is
    already "too gone to respond."

    Hopefully that helps.
