| |
Greetings... this my first (and hopefully last) post. Any assistance or pointers would be greatly appreciated:
I recently added a Seagate Python DDS drive attached via a TekRam DC390 controller to my K6 box. I immediately started receiving protection faults such as the one below (all of the errors have been the same down to the number). It only seems to happen when I write to the drive, although not instantly, but within the first 25mb of data written. Reading does not cause any problems for me (yet). This error is repeatable and predictable, in that it occurs regularly upon *write* access to the tape drive. I've used both the tekram driver as well as the amd53c974 driver, both with similar result. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and I can try to provide other information as required.
Thanks in advance,
Bill
