SubjectRe: 2.1.123 hangs at "Setting Clock"
    Hello!
I have the same trouble. looks like /sbin/hwclock don't working
The kernel doesn't hang - this command (hwclock) is in
/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit (redhat-5.1). this script executes after kernel
loading. - just press ^C and the machine continue booting.

Does anybody else have problems with hardware clock?
    rgds, Denis.
