I've found that the patch was applied for 2.1.121. I don't think that the patch can be applied as it is. Let's give the patch some time to be thinked over.
Yes, and I am furious too that this went in, it made us non-RFC compliant for fast retransmit (again, for the 3rd time) as well. The dup_ack changes are totally wrong, and make us respond to the wrong duplicate ACK.
Linus, when I tell you I want TCP patches to come from me, this is the reason why. This persons changes were totally broken, but you put them in anyways. Why not also put in that set of changes which ignores RTO backoff as well?
