OK. I've changed the subject line 8-)...
As I said, I tested this with both the tulip and the de4x5 drivers. It seems unlikely that the same bug should be in both drivers. I should perhaps also mention that I've seen the same behaviour on two different machines, so I find it had to suspect the card itself. Is it possible that the IRQ handler be responsible? If so, how should I go about debugging it?
