Subjectext2fs indirect blocks: does 2.0.35 still zero them?
Hello all,

Does kernel 2.0.35 still zero out the indirect, doubly-indirect and
triply-indirect blocks when deleting files?

One of the HOWTOs
(http://sunsite.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/mini/Ext2fs-Undeletion.html) suggested
that the later 2.0.x kernels (later == 2.0.31 or greater) would keep the
indirect blocks intact.

I am trying to recover my magnum opus, which I recently recursively
deleted. I've been able to recover all of the files of size <= 12
blocks, and now I'm working on the larger files.

Would you mind CC'ing me personally in addition to replying to the list.
Thank you for reading my post, and sharing any information you think
might be helpful.
