I've been running 2.1.101 and 2.1.111 sucessfully for awhile on my thinkpad (701c), however when I tried to use 2.1.115 it would boot and stay alive for a period of time and then freeze up. It appears to me that the period is the same each time I boot, so far it allways dies about 75% through an fsck, which corresponds to the amount of time I had to login and try checking things before it froze the first time. If anyone is interested in this I can tell you more about the hardware and config (pretty basic). Is there some sort of counter that might be going fritz?
