That patch is either missing a part or too extensive.
include/linux/fs.h is changed to add an argument to fasync_helper(),
but drivers/char/tty_io.c, where fasync_helper is defined, is not
changed to match. Changing it would require changing at least
fasync() and perhaps other funtions. The alternative is that all of
the fasync_mouse() related changes in this patch be left out. I don't
know whether they are necessary, so I'll leave it to you and (based
on the forward to the patch) Stephen to figure out. :)
