Recent kernels (2.1.108) send NO-OPS during the SYN handshake to establish a connection.
echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_timestamps echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_sack echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_window_scaling
But they are staying on by default.
