SubjectRe: NO-OPS during Network Connection
   Date: Sun, 19 Jul 1998 21:13:42 -0400 (EDT)
From: "Richard B. Johnson" <root@chaos.analogic.com>

Recent kernels (2.1.108) send NO-OPS during the SYN handshake to
establish a connection.

echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_timestamps
echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_sack
echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_window_scaling

But they are staying on by default.
