Unfortunately this is nothing new. Other victims of note that I liked
but sadly got "sanitized" in the past:

snarf_region(...)
"lp1 on fire"

You just can't beat the mental picture of thick grey smoke billowing out
of an early 1980's DecWriter-sized tractor feed monster. :)

I'm surprised that the NMI messages haven't fallen prey yet...
