Your kernel size is too big. Either use "make bzImage" or modularize more parts of the kernel.
Hm. I've had people ask me before, and I suspect it is a fairly common case that a newbie gets this message and has no idea what to do. Is there any way to add a check for the 'System is too big' error, and print out a message about what to do? IE "The kernel size is too big for a zImage. Move some functions to modules, or use 'make bzimage' instead."
