Here's without booting windows first:
bt848-0: < 80+ > bt848-0: < 80+ 00+ 80+ 00+ > bt848-0: < 80+ 00+ 00+ 00+ > bt848-0: < 80+ 10+ 00+ bb+ 00+ d0+ > [...] bt848-0: < 80+ 12+ 00+ 08+ 00+ 30+ > bt848-0: < 80- > msp3400: I/O error, trying reset (write Audio 0x9) bt848-0: < 80- 00- 80- 00- > bt848-0: < 80+ 00+ 00+ 00+ > bt848-0: < 80+ 12+ 00+ 0a+ 00+ 30+ > bt848-0: < 80- > msp3400: I/O error, trying reset (write Audio 0xe) [... more write and read errors ...] bt848-0: < 80- 00- 80- 00- > bt848-0: < 80+ 00+ 00+ 00+ > bt848-0: < 80+ 13+ 00+ 1e+ bt848-0: < 81- > msp3400: I/O error, trying reset (read Audio 0x1e) bt848-0: < 80- 00- 80- 00- > bt848-0: < 80+ 00+ 00+ 00+ > bt848-0: < 80+ 13+ 00+ 1f+ bt848-0: < 81- > msp3400: I/O error, trying reset (read Audio 0x1f) bt848-0: < 80- 00- 80- 00- > bt848-0: < 80+ 00+ 00+ 00+ > msp3400: init: chip=MSP3400@-@0, registered as sound mixer
And here's with windows:
bt848-0: < 80+ 13+ 00+ 1e+ bt848-0: < 81+ =03+ =03- > bt848-0: < 80+ 13+ 00+ 1f+ bt848-0: < 81+ =00+ =06- > msp3400: init: chip=MSP3400C-C6, registered as sound mixer
Opening the casing of my machine will have to wait. The windows driver seems to lie about the chip: it calls it a 3400C.
