It was indeed 0x378/IRQ 7, I changed that to 0x278/IRQ 5 and same result,
the IRQ was not probed. EPP is set for 1.9.

parport0: PC-style at 0x278, dma 3 [SPP,ECP,ECPEPP,ECPPS2]
