Subject2.0.33: cdu31a driver causes OOPS

The kernel used is plain 2.0.33, with only the "flavour" patch by
Manoj Srivastava, which should not interfere here (just modifies
version string).

This oops is reproducible, using cdtools (should be at
jaka.cerl.uiuc.edu in /pub/tinsel/), but the output sometimes changes
(see below - there was a reboot between the 2 first ones - the last 2
ones were generated with short time in between).

Then running "rmmod cdu31a" while the "cdplay" command is running
causes the following OOPS (the module IS unloaded).

Sometimes, but not systematically, cdplay freezes (which is why I
called "rmmod" in the 1st time).
