Please see -- what exactly symbols could not be resolved (try to do
depmod ip_masq_raudio , for example and this must show you -- what symbol
could not be found not in working kernel, nor in other modules). I am have
working RedHat 5.0 system with 2.1.92 kernel, modules and masquerading (on
server with 25 workstations and 500 users -- may be I am mad ?) but few
days ago there was 2.1.90 ...

But why ? Why you dislike modules ?

P.S. I have ALL patches from RedHat errata applied PLUS some other local
updates (binutils 2.8.1.0.23, egcs/pgcc 1.0.2 instead of gcc, etc.) and of
course I have modutils 2.1.85 ;-) May be you just have bad modutils ? Try
to grab my version from ftp://ftp.sch57.msk.ru/pub/redhat-addons/kernel-2.1/
My server (ftp.sch57.msk.ru itself, by the way) is working with this modutils...
