I am have working RedHat 5.0 system with 2.1.92 kernel, modules and masquerading (on server with 25 workstations and 500 users -- may be I am mad ?) but few days ago there was 2.1.90 ...

P.S. I have ALL patches from RedHat errata applied PLUS some other local updates (binutils 2.8.1.0.23, egcs/pgcc 1.0.2 instead of gcc, etc.) and of course I have modutils 2.1.85 ;-) May be you just have bad modutils ? Try to grab my version from ftp://ftp.sch57.msk.ru/pub/redhat-addons/kernel-2.1/ My server (ftp.sch57.msk.ru itself, by the way) is working with this modutils...
