This is almost certainly a cabling or termination problem. Fix that problem and this will go away. In the meantime, I'll try and make the driver more resilient to this problem, but keep in mind that if you are getting parity errors, then you can corrupt data anyway, so this is almost a good reason not to fix the problem but leave the panic in place instead.
