The R2000 and R3000 are completly identical with the exception of the
product ID register as far as software goes, so once I receive the R3000
hardware for which I've been contracted to support I'll tackle the CPU
part. Should be relativly easy.

MIPS boxes are not bused on the axiom of achiving compatilbility by hardware
like all the PC/AT clones but by the OS. The real work will be to reimplement
all the other hardware support like interrupt handlers and drivers.
