Okay, first of all, in 2.1.95 NFS-Root is not included in the filesystems menu an if I set CONFIG_ROOT_NFS manually in .config file, I get the following errors:
fs/filesystems.a(nfs.o): In function 'Root_nfs_name': nfs.o(.text.init+0x9a): undefined reference to 'Root_server_addr' nfs.o(.text.init+0xb9): undefined reference to 'Root_server_path' nfs.o(.text.init+0xe6): undefined reference to 'Root_server_path' fs/filesystems.a(nfs.o): In function 'Root_nfs_addr': nfs.o(.text.init+0x3d8): undefined reference to 'Root_server_addr' fs/filesystems.a(nfs.o): In function 'Root_nfs_getport': nfs.o(.text.init+0x56d): undefined reference to 'Rpc_getport_external' make: +++ [vmlinux] Error 1
Am I doing something wrong or does NFS-Root not work with 2.1.95 ? If so, which was the last kernel it worked with ?
