All of my other modules work fine. I have compiled my kernel with "Set version info on all modules." This module, however, in both 2.1.86 and 2.1.95, displays:
root@alexanderwohl:/lib/modules/2.1.86/misc# modprobe opl3sa /lib/modules/2.1.86/misc/opl3sa.o: couldn't find the kernel version the module was compiled for
Odd to note that the size of the opl3sa module is very small... -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 729 Apr 13 1998 opl3sa.o
Also odd is that depmod doesn't think that opl3sa depends on sound...
If there's any other info I can provide to help diagnose this, let me know.
John
