That's trivial to solve. Do the same thing they've done for the NANOG mailing list -- create a separate "linux-kernel-posters" mailing list to which you have to subscribe addresses that you want to post from but don't want to receive mail at. You can post to linux-kernel if you're on either linux-kernel or linux-kernel-posters.
