This is virtual (artificial), available only in CPL 3 (user mode) to
check for optimum alignment of operands during development. You
set the AM bit in CR0 and have the AC flag set to get interrupt 17.
This is an alignment check trap deliberately generated. It can't be
made to occur in kernel mode. It is not a bus error by any stretch
of imagination.
