SubjectSleeps and wakeups

Hi there,

Brief question: how could I use the sleeps and wake_ups in Linux ???

Actually, my question is: how many wakeup and sleep types are there in
Linux ??? I've seen wake_up_interruptible and wake_up, but I don't know
exactly the difference between them and when to use one or the other (I
certainly have clue by looking at their names ... ;). The same happens
with sleep_on and interruptible_sleep_on ...

If anybody can help me, I would really appreciate it.

TIA,
Ivan Passos
