Ctrl-Alt-Del isn't hardcoded; at least in 2.0.x, the entire keymap is modifiable. Further, both Alt keys should work in the default keymap:
keycode 111 = Remove altgr control keycode 111 = Boot control alt keycode 111 = Boot
