Well I tried that with little luck..
however I did manage to get it to compile eventually by adding:

#define CONFIG_MAX_MEMSIZE 1024

to: include/linux/autoconf.h

weather or not that was the rigth step. I am unsure but I'm using
2.0.34-pre4 as im writing this :)
