glibc 2.1 has full LFS support. Simply make O_LARGEFILE working, add a syscall for mmap64 and we should be set.
pread/pwrite/_llseek already take 64bit file offsets.
OK, the various locking techniques might need some changes but lockf64 etc are also already present.
