Subject2.1.131ac8 linker problem (related cause?)
It seems all the symbols that ld complains it can't find are csum_*
functions, which I presume are defined in
arch/<architecture>/lib/checksum.c ?
This is what my 2.1.131ac8 srctree breakout has in
arch/i386/lib:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9627 Dec 11 15:00 checksum.S
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Dec 11 15:00 checksum.c
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 699 Dec 11 20:47 checksum.o
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 395 Dec 11 15:00 checksum2.c
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1152 Dec 11 20:47 checksum2.o

(checksum.c being length 0?...)
