Dear all,
I am writing a kernel module that needs to start a kernel thread to open up a TCP socket and do I/O on it. Without going into the justification for why I need to do this in a kernel thread, is there some example code anywhere that shows how to do this? The socket.c code appears to assume that it is being called from the user side.
