Yes, it appears to work (after ~3 test mounts, but it's the same effect
that I was after, only a better solution to it. So that's ~1day of
testing ...)


So if you have some kind of samba-bugreport-access, PR#11592 should be
closed. But smbfs-package bugs shouldn't be reported there, right?
