Hi!
Does anyone know what could have happened?
> Nov 3 06:42:50 fileserver kernel: Problem: block on freelist at 037f1a10 isn't free. > Nov 3 06:42:52 fileserver last message repeated 1581 times
And our fileserver was dead.. This has now happened the second time...
Our configuration:
- Gigabyte HX Board, Cyrix P 166, 64 MB RAM - Linux Kernel 2.0.35, based on Debian 1.3 distribution - tulip PCI 100Mbit ethernet card - PCI NCR U-Wide SCSI controller with 6 UW-disks connected - Adaptec 1505 ISA SCSI-Controller with 1 DDS3-DAT tape connected - server is running samba - no other (kernel) patches applied.
Server running 24h a day, last action before breakdown was scheduled backup on DAT-tape, which was successfully completed.
Thanks for any hint...
Tschuellewuess, Meinereiner!
