Hotmail uses Sendmail?
They seem to use at least two different incoming servers; one's a hacked zmailer (241 SMTP server comments and bug reports to: zmhacks@cs.toronto.edu), the other identifies itself as HotMail (NO UCE) ESMPT server and doesn't support 'help'; it may also be a hacked zmailer. I believe they use qmail for outgoing mail.
