Subject2.0.36 and freezes

hi *

since I am using 2.0.36 I have seen several unexplained crashes where the
whole system is unresponsive to the keyboard and/or the mouse gets stuck.

one time i could recover by resetting the keyboard (plug out/in). It never
has happened with 2.0.35 and started a few days after I started running
2.0.36. Nothing is mentioned in the syslogs.

before I rip apart my computer, downgrade to 2.0.35 etc, did anyone else
exhibit this feature ?

Note that linux itself continues to work all the time, there just isn't any
interaction possible with the keyboard or mouse)
