Kevin needs to be a *LOT* more specific than that:
: cesium 86 ; uname -a Linux cesium.transmeta.com 2.1.129 #2 SMP Thu Nov 19 15:27:00 PST 1998 i686 unknown : cesium 87 ; lsmod Module Size Used by autofs 9384 4 awe_wave 43912 0 sb 26392 0 uart401 5696 0 [sb] sound 58092 0 [awe_wave sb uart401] soundlow 252 0 [sound] soundcore 2120 6 [sb sound] devpts 3112 1 (autoclean) : cesium 88 ;
The sound works just fine. I have a SB AWE64 in my machine, and another machine has an AWE32. Both work just fine.
