Hi,
I've just found out that linux can't deal with valid ISO-9660 CDs that have a system_id starting with " CDROM". The kernel thinks they are in High Sierra format and refuses to mount them.
I'm not a good programmer but I've managed to fix the bug. Would somebody be so kind to have a look at the problem and include a fix in the kernel?
The patches against 2.0.35/2.1.128 and additional information can be found on http://apache.blvk.ch/kernel/isofs.html
Thanks, --Cyrill
