No - I see this every so often. I don't know whether its a gcc or binutils problem.
Anyhow, make clean abd all is happy.
I've assumed (and still do) its a make quirk and something to do with `close' time stamps for no real good reason.
When I get this, I would at /proc/ksyms and the symbols would be there, with different version info; Shaya, is this what you see?
