I wrote a pair of LJ articles about the 1.2->2.0 device interface and
buffer handling. Nothing else. A trip to amazon.com will turn up a couple
linux device driver and kernel books that do cover the networking. I'd
suggest you drop into a bookshop and browse over them to see which seem
helpful.
