Subject2.1.127pre2
Building 127pre2 I get the following error... It doesnt look anything like
a kernel problem to me :)... compiler is egcs-2.92.17 19981026. Built with
glibc 2.0.98, binutils 2.9.1.0.15, under kernel 2.1.127pre1...

Error follows:

make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux/drivers/misc'
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/linux/include -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O2
-fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -fno-strength-reduce -mpentium -malign-loops=2
-malign-jumps=2 -malign-functions=2 -DCPU=586 -DMODULE -DMODVERSIONS
-include /usr/src/linux/include/linux/modversions.h -c -o
parport_share.o parport_share.c
parport_share.c: In function `parport_register_port_R36e2f16b':
parport_share.c:108: parse error before `{'
make[2]: *** [parport_share.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/drivers/misc'
make[1]: *** [_modsubdir_misc] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/drivers'
make: *** [_mod_drivers] Error 2

The odd function name would be the first thing that caught my eye :)
