I'm not sure if this is a kernel problem or not but I'm having trouble with my ISA modem (USR) on my new PR440FX motherboard. Has anyone else here experienced similar problems with ISA devices and this board (or any SMP configuration for that matter..)
I'm running kernel 2.0.35 compiled with egcs 1.0.3 pgcc (yes I know you're not supposed to compile 2.0 kernels with egcs..)
I've never had problems with this modem before, I've had it for quite a while, it has jumpers on it and is set to 03e8 (com3) and irq4.
